Firewood on pallets

Firewood in 30 cm logs, mainly hornbeam, beech and oak, delivered on pallets in a net. The wood is air-seasoned: it is stored outdoors in short lengths for several months and is not kiln-dried.

A circular saw with a 120 cm blade cuts several pieces at once. The logs pass over a screen that removes sawdust and small pieces, then drop loose into a rectangular crate. When the crate is full, it tilts up slowly and a net is wrapped around the pallet.

Two grades:
1. Round wood and logs: about 800 kg per pallet
2. Production offcuts: about 600 kg per pallet

Pallet size: 1 m × 1.2 m × 1.8 m, i.e. 2.16 steres (stacked cubic metres).

Our other wood fuels: barbecue wood and wood chips.
