Production of acacia gates

We produce three models of acacia gates: simple, paling and premium.

1. Premium gate

Acacia barked gates

The premium gate frame is made up of round posts 8-10cm in diameter, peeled and sanded, assembled by tenon and mortise, using a tenoning machine and a mortising machine. To ensure that the assembly does not come apart, a wooden dowel is driven in.

Then thin acacia poles of 5-8cm in diameter, peeled and sanded are sawn in two and screwed onto the frame. Before screwing, it is necessary to drill a hole with a drill to avoid breaking or weakening the screws.

2. Paling gate

The frame of the paling gate is made up of rectangular sections of acacia wood, 7x5cm wide, planed and assembled by tenon and mortise.

Next, paling, identical to that used for our ganivelles, is drilled and screwed onto the frame.

3. Simple gate

The simple gate is made entirely of debarked but unsanded half-round posts. They are assembled with screws, not mortise and tenon joints.

These three models are available in single leaf (width 0.8 to 1.8 m) or double leaf (width 2.0 to 3.6 m), for heights of 0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 / 1.8 m.

Packaging: 5 doors per pallet. Galvanized hinges (47 or 80 cm) and latches supplied separately upon request. Use class 4 (NF EN 335) — service life of approximately 25 years.
