  • Store on pallets, boards tightly packed; keep strapping until installation. Loose storage causes bowing of the pieces. Slight longitudinal bowing during storage is a normal feature of finger-jointed robinia for outdoor use (industry standard): it does not affect the integrity or strength of the finger joints (C4 exterior glue, tested to DIN 68140 / EN 385). Moisture must be checked on unloading; a later measurement is not representative of the condition on delivery. The moisture content then changes with ambient conditions (natural shrinkage and swelling), without affecting joint performance.
