  • Store on pallets, boards tightly packed; keep strapping until installation. Loose storage causes bowing of the pieces. Slight longitudinal bowing during storage is a normal feature of finger-jointed robinia for outdoor use (industry standard): it does not affect the integrity or strength of the finger joints (C4 exterior glue, tested to DIN 68140 / EN 385). Moisture must be checked on unloading; a later measurement is not representative of the condition on delivery. The moisture content then changes with ambient conditions (natural shrinkage and swelling), without affecting joint performance.

  • Class 4 (standard EN 335)

  • Non-impregnable wood, untreated

  • Service life up to 30 years depending on exposure

  • Natural greying – colour variation – possible surface cracking – slight bowing of boards during drying.

  • No maintenance required – no treatment needed.
